ABOUT US
The Rwanda Chamber of Tourism (RCOT) was established in 2006 as an umbrella organization representing Rwanda’s private sector tourism and hospitality industry. As a chamber under the Private Sector Federation (PSF), RCOT brings together seven professional associations to advocate for the sector, create business opportunities, build capacity, and promote collaboration for the growth of Rwanda’s tourism industry.
PROGRAMS & INITIATIVES
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the growth and sustainability of the tourism industry. We do this by Empowering the tourism and providing the industry with the resources, support, and knowledge it needs to grow and thrive.
ADVOCACY
We represent the interests of tourism and hospitality businesses and engage with government and other stakeholders on policies, regulations, and issues affecting the sector
CAPACITY BUILDING
We provide training, workshops, mentorship, and knowledge sharing opportunities that help members to strengthen their skills, improve their services, and grow their businesses.
BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
We connect members with business opportunities, partnerships, networking platforms, B2B engagements, trade events, and markets that can support business growth
MEMBERSHIP SERVICES
We provide members with access to industry information, networking, visibility, support, and other benefits designed to help them connect, grow, and participate actively in the tourism sector.
The Chamber of Tourism now boasts of tourism and hospitality private sector major players in the industry including seven associations namely:
